Avoid AICTE Unapproved Colleges during Admission Time

Colleges, today, can be found in the nooks and corners of the streets. But are they all reliable? Do they have AICTE approval? Getting admission in a college that provides hotel management courses, which is a dream career of yours, will definitely make you happy. But what if the college shuts down in the middle of the session? Yes, that can happen the moment Government raids an unapproved institute. You will not be in any position to stop it; neither will any college accept your application in the middle of the year. Hence, all you have to do is waste one whole session and apply once again in an approved college.

There can be many other dreadful incidents. For instance, even if the unapproved college manages to get away from the clutches of the government, but then the question is, can that institute give you a stable career?  Well, the answer is a big ‘No’. Your certificates must have an approval of the State University and Education Council of India to get recognized job. In case, the location is not approved by the council, the college can be termed unapproved as well.  You can check out the names of the unapproved hotel management colleges from this link, http://www.aicte-india.org/downloads/Unapparoved%20_Institutes.pdf.

Importance of AICTE and WBUT Colleges

Every year a large number of colleges emerge to provide quality education to the students. There was a time, when seats were very limited and there was intense competition to grab a place in the management colleges. High score is the first priority for most of these colleges, which constricted the seats again. But things have changed completely. Even if you have scored an average number, you can still pursue your dream and establish your career. Increase in the number of colleges does not mean you can apply in each of them because AICTE and WBUT accreditation should be the major concern while choosing a hotel management college.
Having a degree without the approval of the State University and Education Council of India, is a complete wastage of money and time. There are many institutions that tried to keep up with the demanding pace and initiated courses without the approval. But these actually are of no use because the received certificates are without any market value and at the time of applying for a job, they will not be recognized.
So, if you are interested to opt for a hotel management course, check whether the college has the approval of both the WBUT and AICTE. The teaching techniques of accredited colleges are superior and the exposure is much wider. The students get to familiarize with emerging technologies and learn the methodologies of solving problems.
NIPS School of Hotel Management is one such AICTE and WBUT accredited college in Kolkata providing improved and updated training to the students. If you want to know the names of other accredited colleges, click here and for the names of the unaccredited colleges, click here.
Ignoring the accreditation will be a great obstacle in the path of your career. So why take the risk and compromise your future by taking admission in an unapproved college!
